Sample Pitches for the MovieHatch Screenplay Competitions

We have been getting a lot of requests for sample video pitches to help understand the various materials that can be used to enter the competition.  Below are 3 ways to use visual elements in your pitch.

They include a video 'trailer' of the traditional type, a 'talking head' trailer of a person pitching the script and a still image representation of the screenplay.

Choose the style and type that's most appealing to you and that you believe offers the best representation of your screenplay.  Movie-goers are accustomed to seeing ads in trailer format in the theater and on one-sheets around town and in newspapers.

The 'talking head' pitch is a little different for them but if done in a dynamic manner, just as compelling and intriguing!
