Why I Should Win:

I'm a Dreamer, Believer, and wont stop till i become an achiever. Last year late May, I stepped out into Times Square for the first time and knew i was in the right place. Mind you, my best friend Maggie and I was homeless, starving and stuck in new york with 20 dollars left to our name (Last bit spent on NY Hotdogs with no regrets!LOL).The bright lights i saw as i stood in the middle of Times Square, any worries i had vanished. We went from sleeping on park benches,not eating for days at a time,staying in unhealthy environments and having to hustle to survive.Our goal was not lose our dignity and have to subject ourselves to men. We was determined not to take the easy way out and we didn't, we triumphed! Laying on the park bench I didn't have a dollar to my name, no food to eat, or a place to sleep, but I had hope and i knew in the end that was all i needed.
