Cameron Miller is an over worked, underpaid, social worker from the State of New Jersey.
Cameron's neighbor, and one-time love interest, Tonya, has a new boyfriend; a lowlife named Vick who is deep into drugs and murder. Tonya also has a young daughter named Ashley who adores Cameron and would rather spend time with him than her mother and bad boy Vick...
However, Tonya physically abuses Ashley and Ashley is taken away and placed in foster care. When Cameron learns that Ashley's life is threatened from her deviant foster parents and the murderous Vick, Cameron decides to take action...
