Two stoners try to smuggle weed to Grandma's nursing home and kidnap a stripper in the process.

Synopsis:

Peter and Omar are Los Angeles slackers drifting aimlessly through life until Peter's Grandma calls with a plea for help. Her nursing home in Iowa has banned medical marijuana, and she and her friends are suffering.

Peter and Omar decide to make a Medicine Run. The only problem? They don't have a car, money or weed. After getting thrown out by Billy Bogart, their homicidal redneck dealer, Peter and Omar attempt to steal 100 lbs of weed from him, only to accidently kidnap Carolyn, his stripper girlfriend, in the process.

The chase is on across the western U.S. as Peter, Omar and Carolyn fight for possession of the weed while Billy Bogart and the cops are in pursuit. Back at the Nursing Home, Grandma is stirring up a rebellion against the evil Nurse Hilda. On the road, Peter and Carolyn are falling in love in between brushes with death. All the storylines converge as Peter, Omar, Carolyn, Billy Bogart and the police arrive at the nursing home on the day that the revolution goes down...
