Cubicle

Cubicle

Filmmaker: Julie Jansen

Medium: Film

Genre: Horror

Credits:

When a hacker removes a computer virus, she unleashes a demon that only she can stop.

Synopsis:

Meryl Shelley is a reformed hacker, beautiful, smart, and eerily fluent in programming languages. After a stint in the slammer for an act of cyber-terrorism, Meryl thinks she's hit rock bottom. Things are looking up when Meryl is hand-picked by a corporate CEO who wants to push the envelope. Meryl enters a wacky corporate world where the meeting facilitator is an android, the Korean janitor is a witch, the office perv is an electronically transmitted disease expert and sometimes the envelope pushes back. Meryl's main job is to remove a pesky virus from the company's new operating system. When she completes the task, she realizes the virus acted as a piece of digital duct tape. It kept a portal to an infernal dimension shut. The CEO used her as a pawn in his gambit to gain ultimate power. Now a demon is on the loose and rock bottom never looked so close. Only Meryl can stop this unholy alliance. As she falls under the control of the sinister CEO, she finds out that when you're transforming into a demon, it's not so easy to save the world from the forces of evil. Once the office workers are spirited out of their cubicles to join the fray, this horror comedy throws the mundane monotony of everyday office life outside the box.

Champeen said "demon-graphics." Ha ha ha indeed! smilies/wink.gif

Here's what I like about this idea: all of it. Sounds wild, old-school Raimi wild. Good luck!
