The 70's have never been more hilarious, so don't be a jive turkey and join the fun!

Synopsis:

It's the cold, late Fall in Detroit back during the late 70's. Mrs. Washington, a single Mom, tries her best, but her two boys are at each others throats all day long. She pleads with Jimmy, the oldest, to try to be more grown up, but he hates the idea. He doesn't want to act as Clarence's big brother in any way, shape, or form.
It's not only rough at home for the boys. Jimmy and his two friends, Skidmark and Foozball, play a game of after school football against the neighborhood bullies lead by juvenile delinquent Tito. The winner of the game gets to take school hottie Cassandra to the big dance. Even though the odds are way against them, Jimmy thinks they can win. But not if Clarence has anything to do with it. He wants Jimmy to quit playing so they can get home before the streetlights come on. Why? Because as all kindergartners know, when the streetlight come on...the monsters come out!
So, will Jimmy finally decide to grow up and look after his little brother? Or will the monsters come out and get them instead? Watch and find out!!

Like the premise! I used to live in Detroit. Went to Hampton Elementary school and knew a lot of kids like Clarence and Jimmy.
