Four vampires rebel against their evil, Goth underworld to become a light and wussy surf band.

Synopsis:

Vampire Surf Band is a hilarious story about NATE GRAY, a young vampire whose eternity is not measuring up to the decadent Gothic fantasy. Toiling at Vampire Headquarters in order to support himself, his only escape is his band "The Shredding", which sounds like every other underworld band except they have no fans and their audiences throw dead cats at them. One night while hunting for fresh blood, Nate stumbles upon the thing that will change it all: surf music!

Nate takes this “new sound” back to his band mates; CONSTANCE, (a powerful vampire from the 1600's who's played in more bands than Dave Navarro) DUSTIN, (the runt of the bunch) and GRANT (an old-timer turned during The Great Depression who never travels without his personal raccoon.) After convincing the band to change directions, Nate and his friends must work together to figure out exactly how a gang of blood sucking demons are going to sell surf, sun, and fun.

Along the way Nate meets AIRA, an artist who's medium is stuffing humans. She has a lust for life that charms Nate out of his malaise and gives him the confidence to push his own boundaries. The only problem is her Father, DIMITRIUS DRULA and his stealthy but dense henchman HITOMI. These two are dead set on power and evil and nothing will get in their way.

The Shredding's transformation shakes up the dark society’s idea of what it means to be a vampire, gives Nate a chance to save “Vampire Paris” (Duluth, Minnesota) from an evil overlord and maybe even find true love.

Oh, isn't this just good, old-fashionedly, new-fangled, silly, mad, fun! I like how night is in Duluth, the stars made for a beautiful backdrop behind you. Good luck!
