An Iowa college student must make a 1,500-mile journey with his roommate and a shanghaied coed.

Synopsis:

Sebastian, a college senior from Iowa, tries to reconnect with his middle school crush by appearing on "Randi Live" in New York City. With just enough time to get there and back to take the most important final exam of his life, he and his adventuresome roommate Ian make the trip.

After a horrific experience on the show that leaves Sebastian literally crying and humiliated in front of millions of Americans, the boys are shocked to discover their boarding passes and I.D.’s have been stolen.

With time ticking and very limited funds, Ian gets them on a train. Unfortunately, as stowaways they - and an innocent bystander, Sarah – are kicked off in the middle of rural Pennsylvania.

After escaping a Civil War reenactment, they stop at a biker bar where Sarah wins a kissing/stripping competition. Her prize: a motorcycle and sidecar full of Hershey's Kisses. That takes them further until the motorcycle is crushed by an 18-wheeler. The apologetic truck driver takes them to Sarah's school in Ohio where they spend the night at Sarah's all-girl dorm.

Sarah puts the boys on a bus the next morning. Arriving in Omaha less than six hours before the big test, Sebastian's car explodes on the interstate, still 75 miles from school with no way to get there. The car is towed to a garage where the mechanic offers $75 for it, to which an exasperated Sebastian accepts. He rents the only available vehicle - a 19-foot U-haul and unwittingly fills it with unleaded instead of diesel.

Sebastian commandeers two bicycles in the middle of a race and arrives back at campus with 20 minutes to take his test. He finds it’s composed of one philosophical question. After initial panic, he is bombarded with the thoughts and emotions that propelled him through the journey over the last three days and subsequently earns the only "A" the infamous professor has ever given. Sebastian realizes what his priorities in life should be. He takes a bus back to Ohio to reunite with Sarah.

This road trip seems based on my life! I once unwittingly did fill my dad's truck with unleaded instead of diesel (really). I also once won a kissing/stripping contest near Hershey, PA (not really). Looks like it could be a real good time on screen. Good luck!
