Our Hero must protect clumsy pregnant ex-Olympian Kim Nangle from fetal thieving Tina Helen

Synopsis:

Corporal Maynard is sent into his own war - in his mind and on the urban front. His first mission in the CAPDM (Combat Application Protection Detail Member) program is to protect Kim Nangle, a 1993 ice skating Olympian champion, and assure she has her baby free from fetal theft.

Maynard isn’t your typical Special Forces soldier - well he might not even want to be a soldier at all. He doesn’t kill women or children, he rather hang out with family, and most importantly he misses his dead brother so much he snaps into flashbacks at the peak of life-or-death situations. Not only is this directly related to HOW his brother died, but Maynard acts out the flashback in present time, which causes more destruction, blood stomping mayhem than he normally inflicts.

On his adventure, he has to protect an overly clumsy, but sweet Kim Nangle. She’s 8 months pregnant and ready to pop at any moment. She hates violence, especially the idea of a CAPDM guard. To make matters worse, she’s also famous. Everyone wants a piece of her during her book signings, marketing for her reality TV show, and her adoring fans on the street are always seeking an autograph. But her number one fan and nemesis is her past-time competitor – Tina Helen.

Tina’s been envious of Kim Nangle since 1993 and lately she’s been trying to acquire a baby through all means possible. We first meet Tina tending to a crying baby with 116 degree milk.

Maynard has his hands full on gaining the trust from Kim Nangle, battling his personal demons that causes the death of important characters, and stopping Tina Helen’s henchmen who torture Darnell with methods from popular movies such as Braveheart, Taken, and Roots. To add to it all, Maynard has a feminist female enemy from his military days hunting him down who joins forces with Tina Helen.

I read the Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding battle bumped up to an even more twisted, high-stakes level. Sounds wonderfully messy. Good luck!

Poor Maynard...

Will he still be able to say he’s never killed a woman? Who will make it out alive? Who’s dismembered for life?

Kim Nangle plays sweethearts, but we all know they are like private school girls - crazy as hell. Here's the low down on one of her adventures:

Against Maynard’s wishes, Sidney, Kim, and Maynard visit the sister’s hometown to pay respects to the site where the sister’s parents died. Upon arrival in the town, Sidney is greeted with her first love, which used to turn her into a Dalmatian through domestic violence. Yet Sidney can’t resist - she feels the past-time magnetic pull towards him and decides to give him one more chance. The choice infuriates Kim, but she can’t talk her out of it. While Sidney is on her date, Maynard and Kim are side tracked with uncovering the child kidnapping recently taken place in her small hometown. From the grocery store, the two follow a suspicious man - who bought rope, a shovel, latex gloves, and baby oil - back to his house. Maynard breaks into the man’s home, while Kim waits in the car. While he’s in the house doing god knows what, Kim receives a distressed call from Sidney. Apparently, her boyfriend gave her a history lesson via re-enactment of hand-on-face-and-body battering. Sidney escaped and is out of harm’s way, but she needs to be picked up. Kim has never had the chance to help Sidney and she hates this man more than Tony Danza in his wife beating rumor days, so she comes up with a plan. Maynard exits from the house with a small unconscious child and instead of taking the child to the hospital, Kim drives to Sidney’s boyfriend’s house. Finally working together, Kim and Maynard silently break in, leave a grocery bag containing provocative child kidnapping tools and the child in the house. Kim then calls 911 and anonymously reports a hot tip on who the child kidnapper is.

I didn't want to leave anyone in the dark about that &#*@# Tina Helen, here's a little tale about her:

Tina’s been envious of Kim Nangle since 1993 and lately she’s been trying to acquire a baby through all means possible. We first meet Tina tending to a crying baby with 116 degree milk. The baby won’t stop yammering and pouring tears so she rummages through the desk to find – DUCT TAPE. She covers the baby’s mouth, but the child continues screeching through it. So next, Tina pulls out a drawer and lays the baby down and pushes the drawer shut. A duct tape baby stored in a drawer is extremely effective to muffle their cry so Tina can watch ice skating on TV. Suddenly, a car pulls into the driveway. Tina slips out the back door, leaving the baby in the cabinet. The front door swings open and it’s a married couple who are surprised to find their baby sitter unconscious on the ground.
