"On a Plain" is much like teenage life in America. It is filled with laughs, good times, hijinx, loneliness, love, and sorrow. The film takes place in 1994 and follows Chris, a high school Junior, and his small band of friends as they deal with life as a teenager in America. Chris, who suffers emotional damage from many facets of his life, is sent over the edge after he receives news that his hero, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, killed himself. Convinced that if Kurt had reason to die, life was no longer worth living, Chris and Nathan, an emotionally abused teen, agree to kill themselves together that night.
A probing and empathetic view into the life of teenage friends who run the gamut of real life experiences in a small town. The trailer is engaging and makes me want to watch more....
